Funcom Unleashes Major Conan Exiles Content Update 34, Includes Tamable Pets

Conan Exiles has been beefed up with a big content patch yesterday on PC after developer Funcom released the "Savage Frontier Pack" DLC.

The free content update, expected to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 17th, includes the ability to tame beasts as pets, a new dungeon named "Midnight Grove," and a bevy of in-game equipment.

Taken from Funcom's website, the "Savage Frontier Pack" contains:

39 new Frontier building pieces.
A full set of building pieces with the same stats as existing tier three.
15 new armor pieces in three sets, such as the Pictish Warchief Heavy Armor.
Light, medium and heavy sets with an epic end-game version of each.
9 new fearsome Pictish weapons.
Same power as iron weapons with an epic end-game version of each weapon.
5 all new pet skins which can be used with the new pet system.
Have your own exclusive looking wolf, bear or panther pet.
5 new warpaints in Pictish style.
Cool looking warpaints of the crocodile, snake or raven.
Funcom creative director Joel Bylos stated that taming and having pets was an in-demand mechanic for Conan Exiles gamers. The patch also includes visual improvement options, but whether that's exclusively available to PC or will also be an option for console gamers remains to be seen.
