BANDAI NAMCO to Publish Cyberpunk 2077 to the UK

Two weeks ago, CD Projekt Red revealed that Warner Bros. would be responsible for assisting in physical distribution of Cyberpunk 2077 in North America. On October 16th, the team also acknowledged that BANDAI NAMCO will contribute to the launch as well, for both physical production and promotion of the product.

As with Warner Bros, this is not the first time that BANDAI NAMCO has assisted the developers in distributing their RPGs, and Projekt Red has noted the relationship has always held a positive impact on each release:
“We’ve successfully cooperated on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and I’m convinced BANDAI NAMCO will take good care of Cyberpunk 2077.”
And once again, as with previous partners, BANDAI NAMCO had a similarly encouraging response on the association, according to Alberto González Lorca, VP Southern Europe & Biz Dev of Europe:
“CD PROJEKT RED has become, in just a few years, one of the leading studios in this sector with a truly innovative approach to each game and we are both proud and excited to confirm that we’ll be part of the Cyberpunk 2077 project. We’re looking forward to working once again with CD PROJEKT RED and distribute another of its games in Europe, providing first-class services to one of the most eagerly awaited games of the coming years.”

It should also be noted that BANDAI NAMCO will not be responsible for distribution in every country. Buyers who should expect to see the publisher's notorious logo appear on Cyberpunk 2077 are those in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malta, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. So no, not all of them. But certainly a good few.

Either way, fans should be excited to see the world-wide release of the highly-anticipated RPG. As of now, developers are still insistent on their 2019 release date at the earliest.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Cyberpunk 2077 achievements.
