64-Bit Filter Coming Soon to Yooka-Laylee

For those who love Yooka-Laylee but miss the nostalgic N64 style of Playtonic's Banjo-Kazooie roots, an update that lets players put a 64-bit filter on the game is coming soon.

Playtonic has even lowered and capped the frame rate, downgraded the lighting, shadows and shaders and applied a "scanline effect" to create those horizontal lines on the screen that we all remember so vividly. In a trailer, Playtonic joked, "It's the downgraded version you've been wishing for!"

The update is coming soon to Yooka-Laylee.
