Dawn of New Riders Game to Accompany Upcoming How to Train Your Dragon Movie

By Kelly Packard, 2 months ago
Outright Games has announced they are publishing DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders, an upcoming entry into DreamWorks' Dragons universe that began with 2010's How to Train Your Dragon. The game will launch alongside the new film How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World but will follow its own story instead of that of the movie.

Dawn of New Riders follows Scribbler and his "unique hybrid dragon" Patch as they try to save Patch's fellow dragons from new villain Eir. The game, which is developed by Climax Studios, will take players to known locations from the series and new areas. The gameplay involves battling and exploration, as well as switching between Scribbler and Patch to solve puzzles.

There is no official release date for DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders, but the game is supposed to launch in February 2019, close to How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World's release.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders achievements.
