Poll: What's Your Early Opinion of Red Dead Redemption 2?

By Mark Delaney, 16 days ago
Happy Friday TA! Last week's poll was our customary beginning of the month question: what are you looking forward to? For November, the most popular answer was, perhaps surprisingly Spyro Reignited Trilogy (25.6%). Behind that came Fallout 76 (22.9%) and Hitman 2 (15.4%). All named options fared pretty well though, so it seems the Holiday buying and gaming bug is hitting us all pretty hard.

Speaking of buying and playing new releases, it turns out people really were that excited for Red Dead Redemption 2, as it set weekend sales records for any entertainment medium in... *checks notes*... world history.

With the game already eclipsing 80,000 players on TA too, it's clear many of us are playing along right now. After all the hype and the stellar reviews, lots of players are reporting they don't like the game as much as they had hoped or were told they may, often citing the game's deep sim aspects, like needing to eat, sleep, and clean your guns on occasion, as causes for boredom. So let's take the pulse of our community with the year's biggest game. You can hear more of our takes on the game so far in the most recent episode of the TGN Podcast, including a whole lot of Rich's complaints about the game. How are you liking it so far?
