As the full release of Fallout 76
approaches next week, Bethesda have announced the final two B.E.T.A. sessions for their upcoming multiplayer RPG. The first session will run tomorrow, November 6th, from 1pm to 3pm ET before a final six-hour long B.E.T.A. session on Thursday, November 8th from 2pm to 8pm ET (check here
for the times in your area).
In addition, Bethesda have teamed up with Markelle Fultz of the Philadelphia 76ers — no prizes for guessing how they came up with this idea — for a few live-action shorts featuring the Fallout
series mascot, Vault Boy, trying to play basketball. As with anything live-action, they aren't representative of the final product, but are still entertaining to watch regardless.
First, as any good athlete knows, is training. Even the most gifted of players no matter the sport have to warm up and practice, no matter the sport.
Now that both Vault Boy and Fultz have warmed up, it's time for a game of H.O.R.S.E. A particularly S.P.E.C.I.A.L. one, as you might expect from Vault Boy.
The final short features another basketball classic, the half-court shot. After struggling in the game of H.O.R.S.E, Vault Boy unleashes the one special weapon Fultz doesn't have — V.A.T.S! But will it help him to finally sink a shot?
As far as we know at least, basketball will unfortunately not be part of Fallout 76
when it releases on November 14th.
