Try PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and PES 2019 for Free This Weekend

By Ashley Woodcock,
If you've got an empty schedule this weekend then you're in for a potentially action-packed set of days thanks to Xbox who will be hosting another Free Play Days event, which includes two pretty sweet titles to check out for a limited time. On top of that, Xbox Live Gold members and even those without a Gold membership can play together for free. This is an ideal time to try out the killing fields of the very-well known PUBG: Battlegrounds. If the survival-style shooting of PUBG isn't your thing, or you just happen to like football/soccer as well, then you can also download and have a go at Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2019.

Free Weekend

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a hugely popular battle royale style third-person shooter that spent quite some time in the Xbox Game Preview Program before being fully released in September. Although it's currently packed with a few buggy achievements, the intensity of the battles in the game has kept players coming back for more as they do their best to be the last-man or last-squad standing. TrueAchievements Newshound Eurydace gave the game a 5/5 star rating in his official site review as he just couldn't get enough of the different and unique experiences each time he played. The community, although not quite as kind, still rate the game at a very respectable 3.7 out of 5 stars from 539 votes currently. Set the game off downloading right here.

Not quite on the popularity scale of PUBG, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is from a series that's been around for a lot longer. With Xbox One X Enhancements and a very good rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars from the current 39 votes, why not give PES 2019 a try and see if the football action suits your taste? The completion looks like it will take a lot less time as well at least with a couple of estimates currently putting the title between the 30-40 hour mark. Give Konami's latest entry in the Pro Evolution Soccer Series a go and download the game using this link.

Enjoy both of the games for free starting from today, through until November 11th.
