Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Season 4 Details Take Siege In Morocco

By Dave Bricker, 9 days ago
We got some details, albiet scant, for the Year 3 Season 4 content for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Titled 'Operation Wind Bastion,' it will feature two new operators, one Attacker and one Defender from the Kingdom of Morocco, and a new Fortress map, the first to emphasize an Operator.

This third year of post launch content was announced on Twitter, with an Arabic tweet translated as 'Welcome to Morocco.'

Operation Wind Bastion

FORTRESS takes place inside a military training facility located in the Atlas Mountains. The map will let players test their skills inside a mudbrick Kasbah, with architecture hailing from the southern region of Morocco. The map will feature two distinguishable sections, with a variety of open space, points of cover, and lines of sight for both close and long range engagements. Rumors, though obviously unconfirmed, are that the multiplayer map will focus on Dar al-Makhzen, the official residence of the Moroccon King.

The full reveal of the Year 3 Season 4 content will be shown on November 18th during the Pro League Finals taking place in Rio de Janeiro. A release date is as of yet unknown, but the expectation is that it will be tested on the Technical Test Server with a release date sometime in late November or early December.
