System Era Softworks has just announced that the full v1.0 release of Astroneer is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 on February 6th, 2019. This announcement subsequently confirms a delay from the game's previous window for full release, which indicated that Astroneer was going to leave Game Preview in December.

For the unacquainted, Astroneer is an interplanetary exploration game tasking players with building bases and exploring beautiful planets, either alone or with friends. After spending two years in the Game Preview program, over two million space explorers have been busy reshaping the landscapes encompassing Astroneer's vast universe. With v1.0, players should expect seven brand new planets, each showcasing new challenges, dangerous flora and fauna, treacherous terrain, and narrative elements. Players should also expect increased customization options and cross-play functionality across Xbox One and Windows 10 through dedicated servers.
