Fortnite Starts a Food Fight

When it comes to this week's Fortnite update, the thing that has been shouted about the most is the addition of mouse and keyboard functionality for Xbox One players. Unsurprisingly though, that isn't the only thing the patch brought along — v6.30 also adds new weapons, a new Food Fight limited time mode for Battle Royale, and plenty of front end improvements for Save the World.

In Food Fight, Battle Royale players get five minutes to build a base around the entree they're tasked with protecting. Once that time is up, the dividing wall is removed and the battle begins. They also get to benefit from the new Mounted Turret weapon. Meanwhile, Save The World players get a new revolver, as well as a plethora of improvements to the user interface and game functionality. There are quite a few bug fixes and gameplay improvements for both game modes too. You can check out the full list of patch notes in the spoilers below.
