HRX: Realm Royale Xbox One Beta Expands to More Players, Cross-Play Planned

By Kelly Packard, 5 months ago
At the Hi-Rez Expo, it was announced that a flood of new Realm Royale beta codes will be going out to Xbox One players. The class-based battle royale title has been in a very quiet, private testing phase on Xbox since July, with the game's community manager saying that "our closed testing audience for console is staying quite small while we refine some core mechanics."

Developer Heroic Leap also announced that Realm will receive cross-play between Xbox One and PC during the beta. The Realm beta will be hitting PlayStation 4 soon, but PS4 wasn't yet announced for cross-play, although the team said they are prepared to add more platforms to cross-play as opportunities arise. Cross-play was also announced for other Hi-Rez-published games Paladins: Champions of the Realm and SMITE.

Players who haven't signed up for the Xbox One Realm Royale beta can do so at this link.
