AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected
is a combat game where the protagonist isn't all that great as a fighter. Now that sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it doesn't take into account their skill at making friends. Those friends will, in turn, be the key to helping to save the day with their various powers. To show this premise in action, the two-person team of Aurélien Regard and Jean-Matthieu Gennisson have released a new gameplay trailer showing a mixture of both friends and enemies. We recommend checking out the trailer below, if only for the game's exceedingly charming art style.
We'll find out the strength of the power of friendship when AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected
releases early next year.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected achievements.
