Guacamelee! 2 Coming to Xbox One in January

By James Kearle,
After a period of timed exclusivity, Drinkbox Studios have announced that their co-op Metroidvania platformer Guacamelee! 2 will be coming to Xbox One at an undisclosed date in January 2019.

The title follows its predecessor Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition by bringing luchador Juan Aguacate out of retirement to face off against a multitude of quirky villains, each with sassy temperaments and unconventional motives. Juan will need to utilise a unique repertoire of bone-crunching moves to fend of his enemies, and circumnavigate various platforming challenges littered throughout the game's vibrant world.

There seems to be much for fans and newcomers alike to be excited for, as Guacamelee! 2 received a warm reception on PS4, with an averaging critical rating of 84% on Metacritic.
