Killing Floor 2 Has a Twisted Christmas with Season's Beatings

By Rebecca Smith, 7 days ago
KILLING FLOOR 2 is known for celebrating the different seasons with unconventional events, and the upcoming holiday season is no exception. Last year Tripwire Interactive recruited Krampus and his band of monsters to help celebrate. This year, they've recruited Gary Busey to put a unique twist on the Christmas season with their Twisted Christmas: Season's Beatings update.

As promised last month, this week's update adds a new playable character and a Trader voiced by Gary Busey, where he offers advice on the weapons and gear players purchase between rounds. There's also two new maps, four new weapons, Christmas zeds, and a "No Duplicates" system to avoid duplicate items until players have completed the sets. You can see the update in action in the new trailer below:

As well as releasing the Twisted Christmas: Season's Beatings update, the team also detailed their upcoming Road Redemption crossover, where players will get a new weapon and characters:

Road Redemption Exclusive Weapon: The Road Redeemer
  • This chained bat for the Berserker class will be available for players who own both Killing Floor 2 and Road Redemption on Steam or PlayStation 4. Xbox One players can look forward to this crossover once Road Redemption launches for Xbox One
Killing Floor 2 Characters in Road Redemption
  • Hans Volter and DJ Scully are playable characters for players who own both Killing Floor 2 and Road Redemption on Steam or PlayStation 4. Xbox One players can look forward to this crossover once Road Redemption launches for Xbox One.

The Season's Beatings update is available now. There is no date yet for the release of Road Redemption, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
