One of the perks of an Xbox Live Gold membership is the Free Play events where players get to download and try select titles in their entirety for the duration of a few days. One of the favourite games to appear in this promotion is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. If you're one of the few players who haven't tried it yet, or you want to spend some more time with the game even if you don't own it, you'll be glad to know that the game is getting another Free Play event starting from today.
Throughout the event, players will be able to explore the world of the base game as they try to reclaim their soul from the Daedric Prince Molag Bal. They'll also be able to try out the "Morrowind" DLC and head over to Vvardenfell where the Dark Elf demi-god Vivic needs help to regain his powers. Finally, there's the open world PvP zone of Cyrodiil, and the 4v4v4 PvP Battlegrounds arena.
All new players will receive a gift of 500 crowns to use in the in-game store. As usual, players can continue their progression from previous trial events, and if you decide to purchase the game after the event is over, your progression will remain intact for use there too. Throughout the week, the game will be on sale at 50% off.
The Free Play event begins today, December 6th, at 12:01 a.m. PDT. You can play the game for free until 11:59 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, December 12th.
