Winter is Coming to PUBG

By Mark Delaney, 3 months ago
Like those in the North of George RR Martin's fantasy epic, A Song of Ice and Fire, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players need to be aware that winter is coming. In fact, for those playing on the PC test servers, winter has arrived tonight. For console players, the fourth map, Vikendi, brings snow to the game for the first time and hits in January. The map will offer many new tactics to consider, like using footprints to hunt down enemies and being aware that you're not floating either, of course. See the reveal trailer below which debuted at tonight's Game Awards.

No exact date has been revealed but the update will arrive shortly after the new year in January 2019.
