Free To Play Action RPG Dauntless Comes To Consoles Next Year

By Andy Mills, 1 month ago
Canadian studio Phoenix Labs has revealed that their free-to-play action RPG Dauntless — released on PC back in April this year — will soon be making its way to consoles. To celebrate the announcement, they made a trailer that debuted at The Game Awards show last night. Check it out below, particularly all you Monster Hunter fans out there.

As part of what they are calling the "One Dauntless" vision, Phoenix Labs will be looking to provide players with seamless cross-platform play, progression and account management. This means that no matter where a player is, whether sitting at their PC, on the couch with a console, or eventually even on the go with mobile devices or the Nintendo Switch, they'll be able to continue where they left off and play with friends no matter where they play.

Dauntless will release on Xbox One in April 2019.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Dauntless achievements.
