NCAA Football 12 Cover Star Announced

Last month, EA Sports asked fans to vote for the football star they wanted to feature on the cover of forthcoming NCAA Football 12, via the game's official Facebook page.

The votes are in, they've been counted and verified and as promised, today the winner has been announced... Alabama Crimson Tide's Running Back, Mark Ingram Jr.

If you want to see more than just a packshot of the winner, you'll likely enjoy the "Behind the Scenes" video and screenshots featuring the Alabama Crimson Tide, which have been released to complement the announcement.

Exactly one week after calling for votes, EA Sports released two "first look" screenshots. At that time, the publisher wasn't giving much away about the latest iteration in the franchise.

In complete contrast, today has also seen the release of a new "Sizzle" trailer to showcase "enhanced in-game presentation, new traditions, and an all-new tackling system".

NCAA Football 12 is set to touchdown in North America on July 12th, 2011.
