Halo MCC Update Will Reset Certain Campaign Checkpoints

By Lexley Ford, 1 month ago
Due to work being carried out for the campaigns on both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 3 in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the mid-mission checkpoints for both of these games will be invalidated with the next patch. This means that if you are currently mid-mission on any levels in Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 3, you may want to complete them before next week's patch lands, as you will lose your current checkpoint progress in them.

The team at 343 Industries has also discovered a bug in this latest update that is causing Spartan Ops mission completion badges to not appear correctly. The "stats are being tracked appropriately and badges are awarded, but it's just that they aren't visibly appearing". The team is currently looking into a fix for this issue, but they wished to inform players of its existence as this bug will be present in the update slated for next week.

Currently, the December Update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is planned to be released next week, on December 19th.
