CD Projekt RED Releases Hotfixes for GWENT and Thronebreaker

Although CD Projekt RED is working vigilantly on their futuristic first-person RPG Cyberpunk 2077, the December 4th releases of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game (v1.0) indicate that the developer is far but done with supporting The Witcher series. On the back of a warm critical reception, CD Projekt RED has now implemented a series of hotfixes seeking to make various improvements to both of these fantasy titles.

Focusing primarily on improving stability and performance for consoles, the latest patch fixes the following:

  • Fixed an issue whereby FPS would significantly drop when accessing the GWENT and Thronebreaker Deckbuilder.
  • Fixed minor UI issues.
  • Fixed several in-game Contracts (GWENT).
  • Fixed an issue whereby entering the Mess Tent would cause the game to freeze (Thronebreaker).
  • Other stability improvements and fixes
With the update being released first on PS4 and PC, a recent tweet from GWENT: The Witcher Card Game's official twitter confirms that the hotfixes are now live for Xbox One as well, so there is no need to wait.

Are you enjoying the latest foray into The Witcher universe? What other fixes do you want to see? Let us know in the comments.
