Chris Avellone Scripted Puzzle Platformer Degrees of Separation Blows Hot & Cold

By Chewie, 29 days ago
Independent Norwegian developer Moondrop has followed up the October announcement of their upcoming puzzle platformer Degrees of Separation with an in-depth video, screens and details of the title.

Screens - 20/12/18

Players can control Ember and Rime in solo or co-op with each character representing heat and cold. Naturally, this means they have contrasting abilities that must be used both independently and in unison to overcome the levels' organic puzzles and obstacles, reflecting the themes of closeness and separation. The game is written by industry veteran, and Interplay and Obsidian alumni, Chris Avellone.

Things will be heating up when Degrees of Separation is released on February 14th, 2019, which is a day you would hope isn't normally associated with separation.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Degrees of Separation achievements.
