In the near future, Earth will be invaded by an unknown enemy called the Lutadore. This race will be armed with gravity controlling weapons, and will easily overrun any city’s defences. As a result, some regions will have zero gravity; other regions will still have gravity, but it works in abnormal ways. Or at least it will in upcoming third-person co-op shooter Inversion.
Players will assume the role of either hot-headed cop Davis Russell, or Davis’ neighbour Leo Delgado, as they travel through the war ravaged streets of their home town in the quest to find Davis’ missing child. Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for the game, showing the pair in action as they battle the Lutadore and the random effects of gravity.
Gravity is like most things, you never really appreciate it until it's gone... six months in a prison camp gives a man time to think about the technology they use to enslave us. How we can turn it against them? I don't know where they came from but I do know where I'm gonna send them...
Inversion is due to be released on February 7th, 2012.
