December 2018 Delistings: Middle-Earth, Monster Jam, and Milestone

By Rebecca Smith, 13 days ago
At the end of every year, we always see a lot of games disappear from the Microsoft Store because of expiring licenses. This year is no exception, and December has seen a grand total of seven Xbox One games, two Xbox Live Arcade games, and nine Xbox 360 Games on Demand removed from the Microsoft Store. In slightly better news, there have been two Games on Demand relisted in North America.

Before we begin, it is worth noting that the World Cup Edition of Rugby League Live 4 has been removed from the store, but the standard edition of the game is still available for purchase. This doesn't affect the availability of the game's achievements in any way.

We were expecting Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends to disappear on January 1st, and it has indeed done so, but only on Xbox One. At the time of publication, the Xbox 360 version is still available for purchase. None of the other games were expected to be removed, and you can see the full list of delistings below. All of the games marked with ** have disc copies that can still be purchased from retailers. The one game marked with oo has achievement-bearing DLC that can still be purchased. I would suggest you do so as soon as possible if it is content in which you're interested.

We'll be back in February with the next round of delists, if there are any. However, if we get advance warning of any future delists, we'll be sure to let you know before they happen.
