Resident Evil 2 - 1-Shot Demo Trailer Out Now

By Andrew Ogley, 7 days ago
Not so long ago, it was revealed that a "1-Shot Demo" for the upcoming Resident Evil 2 title, would be available for download, allowing players to get their hands on a time-limited demo for the game. At the time, not so much was known but developer Capcom Entertainment has fleshed out some of the missing details and included a gameplay trailer to give you an idea of what to expect.

In the demo, players take on a time-limited mission from the early part of Leon's story in the title. Players may remember that early on in the game, Leon turns up for the first day of work at Raccoon City's police station only to find the city already overrun by infected zombies. The demo gives the player 30 minutes to escape the zombie-infested police station solving the necessary puzzles along the way.

Essentially, the demo is time-limited to 30 minutes, win or lose. Complete the mission under 30 minutes and players will be able to restart the mission again until the time runs out. Players who encounter the familiar "You Died" screen will be able to continue any number of times until the 30-minute timer has expired. Either way, succeed or fail, players will only be able to play for 30-minutes. As a reward for playing the demo, an exclusive cinematic trailer will be revealed.

The "1-Shot Demo" will be available for download for a limited time from January 11th, through to January 31st, with Resident Evil 2 being released on January 25th.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Resident Evil 2 achievements.
