Now that you've got yourself up to speed with all of the gameplay details revealed so far for Mortal Kombat 11, you probably want to know what you get if you pre-order the game. As well as the bonuses on offer, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have revealed a Kollector's Edition of the title, and brief details of an exclusive beta.
Players who pre-order the title will receive the playable character Shao Kahn. Not only that, they'll get exclusive access to a private beta beginning on March 28th. If players pre-order the game digitally, they'll gain automatic access to the beta. Those pre-ordering at retail are cautioned to make sure that their preferred retailer is offering the beta as a bonus before they place their order. At participating retailers, players will receive a download code that can be redeemed immediately in preparation for the start of the beta.
As well as being available in a standard edition, players will get a chance to purchase the Kollector's Edition. As well as a copy of the game, the edition includes a "Kombat Pack, Scorpion mask bust, exclusive steel case, commemorative magnet coin and authenticity plate".
To round up everything we've learned about the game so far, we see franchise creator Ed Boon once more as he's joined by other members of the development studio in a behind-the-scenes look at the game.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be available on April 23rd.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Mortal Kombat 11 achievements.
