Bandai Namco recently revealed big news for Dragon Ball fans. According to a recent tweet, a new action RPG is in development, built upon the same universe as Dragon Ball Z. Alongside the announcement is a tease for the next DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ as well. Described only as "the warrior from Universe 11," fans have already speculated that the latest addition is The Mortal Beyond The Gods, otherwise known as Jiren the Gray.
News on the action RPG is still vague at most, and there's been no confirmation on which consoles will receive the upcoming release. For now, the title has been named Project Z. As for Jiren, his involvement hasn't officially been confirmed. However, a leaked image of the weekly release of Shonen Jump suggests that this assumption isn't too far off. We'll know for sure who the new fighter is when the DRAGON BALL FighterZ World Tour Finals arrive on January 26th and 27th. Bandai has also noted that more news is to come, though whether or not it includes the latest action RPG project is still a mystery.
