Capcom Returns To 1998 For Inspiration In This Resident Evil 2 Trailer

By Andy Mills, 29 days ago
For the release of the original Resident Evil 2 back in 1998, Capcom hired legendary horror director George Romero — whose films were an inspiration for the series — to direct a live-action trailer to promote the title in Japan. 21 years later, on the eve of the release of the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom has revealed a new live-action trailer heavily inspired by that original. Both Leon and Claire have their own troubles with the zombie hordes before meeting towards the end. We'll let you find out the rest for yourselves by watching the trailer in full below.

As shown at the end of the trailer, Resident Evil 2 will be with us extremely soon, on January 25th.
