After the success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy last year, it was only a matter of time before we got a remaster of Crash Team Racing. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be bringing the 20-year-old title to Xbox One later this year and if you weren't sure exactly what to expect, the first gameplay trailer has zoomed to our attention and showcases nearly 45 seconds of karting chaos.
Developer Beenox is aiming to bring the experience players loved from the original title to the modern consoles. To do this, they're upgrading the graphics to today's standards while keeping all of the gameplay content of the original game. This includes the single-player campaign that pits players against bosses like Ripper Roo and Nitrous Oxide, as well the time trials to provide experienced players with more challenge, and the local spit-screen modes. New to the title will be online functionality for all multiplayer modes, as well as new options to make the game accessible to new racers. See exactly what we mean in the gameplay below.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled races onto our screens on June 21st, 2019.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled achievements.
