Blizzard Discusses How They Created The Sound Of Paris For Overwatch

By Andy Mills, 8 days ago
Just over a week ago, Blizzard revealed that the next map for Overwatch would be based on the French capital of Paris. Of course, it's not just as simple as dropping the Eiffel Tower and the river Seine somewhere and calling it a day. In this video, we hear from Paul Lackey, Sound Design Supervisor at Blizzard, about what goes into creating the sounds that help players feel like they're in Paris. This isn't just limited to the people as they wander about the street markets and cafés, but also animals like pigeons! Have a listen to Lackey below.

No word on when we can expect to see Paris in the console versions of Overwatch but considering it's playable on the public test realm on PC, hopefully it won't be too long before we're all able to take a trip to France.

We've got the full list of Overwatch: Origins Edition achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
