Fallout: New Vegas Patch Needs a Fix

Update 2: Bethesda confirmed that the patch has now been fixed.

Update: User ziplobthud pointed out something very helpful for those who may have already installed the patch and are encountering problems. If you go into your saved game files, you can delete this individual patch, called "Title Update 3", with no impact on previous patches. Good to keep in mind in case you run into post patch troubles!

Recently, we reported that a patch was incoming for Bethesda's https://www.trueachievements.com/Fallout-New-Vegas-xbox....htm.

Unfortunately, it appears the patch has raised other issues and is indeed in need of a patch itself. Bethesda is aware of the problem, which can cause problems with your game saves, such as your save not loading, and is working with Microsoft to resolve the problem as swiftly as possible.

For now, Bethesda recommends that, once prompted for the update, decline it. We'll update you with more information about the patch for the patch once we have it.
