For the past few months (and almost certainly longer, but that's when they revealed the game to the world), Three Fields Entertainment have been hard at work on Dangerous Driving, a spiritual successor to the Burnout series from some of the minds behind the much-loved arcade racing series. We'll soon be able to experience the fruits of their labour as the team have announced the game's release date. To celebrate the announcement, they also provided plenty of screenshots as well as a new trailer. Let's have a look at those screenshots first.
Screenshots are great and all, but for a game inspired by such a fast-paced series like Burnout, it's always better to see it in motion. Luckily, as we've already mentioned, Three Fields were kind enough to also provide us with a new trailer. Enjoy over a minute's worth of Dangerous Driving's speeding, smashing and crashing below.
Time for that all-important release date. Dangerous Driving speeds onto Xbox One on April 9th. The game will be available digitally for $29.99/£24.99, but there will also be a physical edition available — published by Maximum Games — that includes the Crash mode-inspired Danger Zone 2 and will cost $39.99 US/$49.99 CAD/UK £29.99/Europe €39.99/Australia $69.95 AUD.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Dangerous Driving achievements.
