In a statement on the game's official website, Konami have confirmed that myClub Coins will be discontinued from sale across all platforms, one after the other. The exact order was not confirmed.

The company have clarified that myClub Coins already purchased will not be removed and players can keep earning Coins for free through specific rewards.

Electronic Arts, Valve, Blizzard, and Square Enix have all made significant changes to their products in light of the Belgian authority's rulings last year — Konami is simply the latest in the list. The continued acceptance of the Commission's ruling sets an interesting precedent not only for future games in the country, but for future rulings across the European Union and further.
