When the Season Pass was revealed for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, it was promised that it would include two major story arcs with three episodes in each. Well, the first of those story arcs, "Legacy of the First Blade", is due to end today with the release of "Episode 3: Bloodlines", and Ubisoft has revealed exactly what gamers can expect from the episode.
The episode is described as "substantial". After spending a fair amount of time away, players return to the village of Dyme. Life is initially quite peaceful, hunting and fishing as you eke out a simple life. Things don't stay like that for long. After encountering Darius once more, players are sent on a quest to get to the heart of the Persian empire before the empire takes them out instead.
If players complete the episode, they'll receive a special weapon in return. However, it needs to be repaired, and the only way to do that is to earn special items that are carried by the new branch of the Order of the Ancients, the Order of the Dominion. During the episode, players will also find out their opinion of your actions.
Players can unlock a new Warrior ability known as Fury of the Bloodline. Players will be able to land a flurry of strikes with the Spear of Leonidas, and as that happens, players get three bars of adrenaline in return. This means they can instantly launch an Overpower attack, heal, or use any other ability.
"Episode 3: Bloodlines" is available now. Ubisoft promises that the second story arc, "The Fate of Atlantis" will be "coming soon", and there will also be new Lost Tales of Greece. Finally, Season Pass holders will get access to Assassin's Creed III Remastered and Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered on March 29th.
