Flight Week Begins in GTA Online

By Rebecca Smith, 18 days ago
The weekly GTA Online update has arrived for Grand Theft Auto V. This week focuses on Flight Week, with another dose of discounts, and time-limited events all based around the aerial theme.

GTA V [Xbox One] 11/7/14 Screen 6

Double GTA$ and RP opportunities come in the form of a variety of aerial modes and missions — Stockpile, the Top Fun trilogy, Air Force Zero, and G-Rating. The double rewards are available in these modes until March 13th. Meanwhile, anyone that logs in throughout the week will receive the Blue & Red Class of '98 Tees in their collection.

Rockstar is also offering bonuses for players who add 2-Step Verification to their Rockstar Social Club account. This can be enabled by heading here, and it means that every time a new device is signed into your account, you'll need your nickname/e-mail, password, and a verification code that is generated by an Authenticator. Adding the extra verification process will reward you with an extra GTA$500,000 for GTA Online, as well as 10 Gold Bars for your Red Dead Online Beta account. There will also be "additional future benefits" in both games.

We end the list of highlights with the usual discounts on a range of products. This week it's discounts on aircraft and hangars:

  • Hangar Renovations - 50% off
