Zen Studios is most famously known for their pinball franchise Pinball FX, but it certainly isn't the only genre of game the studio produces. Their next game, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, is taking a step into the realm of role-playing on Xbox One and Windows 10 later this month. It will also launch on Xbox Game Pass on the same day.

Operencia: The Stolen Sun Achievements

Operencia is the largest game the studio has ever developed. The game takes players to the titular fantasy world that draws inspiration from central European folk tales and legends, and uses real-life historical figures, such as King Attila and his wife Réka, as characters within that world. The Sun King, Napkirály, has been captured. If he isn't freed, the world will be plunged into an endless night filled with monsters and traps. Combining first-person dungeon crawling with turn-based role-playing, players will use a tile-based movement system and take part in turn-based battles as they aim to succeed in their quest, as well as solving puzzles.

To celebrate the game's new release date, the team has released a new trailer that tells players about the game, narrated by the first character players will meet. Jóska is a rogue who is "completely honest and in no way untrustworthy".

As the trailer states, the game is arriving on March 29th and will be released on Xbox Game Pass on the same day. For those who won't be playing the game through Game Pass, it is also available to pre-order through the panel below.
