UPDATE: Crackdown 2 is Now Backward Compatible, and Free for a Limited Time

Major Nelson has tweeted that Crackdown 2 will be available on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility from today. If that wasn't enough, the game will also be free to download for a limited time.

The tweet does not confirm when the Backward Compatibility or the free period will start and end — at the time of writing the game is still full price on the store. It's also not clear if Gold is required to make the most of the free period. You can check in with your local store links below to see if the offer has started in your area.
