SOULCALIBUR VI 1.30 Patch Brings Battle System and Character Balance Changes

By Ethan Anderson, 1 month ago
SOULCALIBUR VI has been receiving adjustments fairly regularly since its launch. This new patch is described as a "major update" that provides changes to the battle system and aims to improve character balance.

Patch 1.30's most notable changes target reversal edges, guard impacts, ring outs, and character behaviours. For instance, it'll now be easier to crush an opponent's guard if they constantly rely on reversal edges, and ring outs should occur less often thanks to combo adjustments and stage size increases. The patch also contains a number of character-specific buffs and nerfs. You can read the full patch notes here.
