Xbox Gameplay Chart: Week Ending March 24th, 2019

By Rebecca Smith,
In this week's Gameplay Chart, Apex Legends and Fortnite continue to battle for the top spot. Last week the two swapped places, but is it the same for this week? As well as the two titles struggling for power, we've had new releases in the form of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and a couple of Xbox Game Pass games. How did they all fare? Check out the top 40 most played games in the Gameplay Chart below:

As you can see, Fortnite and Apex Legends have swapped places again. Apex Legends takes the top spot, while Fortnite slides a place to take #2. Aside from that, most of the top 10 games stay relatively stable, with just The Division 2 increasing its position by three places to #3, its highest ever position in the chart.

There aren't even that many significant shakers further down the chart either. After being available in Game Pass for more than a week, Just Cause 4 starts to descend the chart too, falling eight places to #29. Now that players have tried out the Black Prior's Riposte event, For Honor drops eight places down the chart to #36. Previous Game with Gold title Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion drops another 11 places to just stay in the chart at #40. No games had any sizeable climbs.

The only new release of the week is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that enters the chart at #21. After just falling out of the chart last week, Warframe climbs back into the chart at #38. Neither of the new Xbox Game Pass releases, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and What Remains of Edith Finch, managed to hit the charts, although the latest Xbox 360 Game with Gold, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, just missed out on a top 40 spot.

For next week's chart, the only notable new retail release to watch out for is Generation Zero, although Final Fantasy VII also makes its digital debut. The Walking Dead: Michonne, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, and Vampyr also join Xbox Game Pass. Will any of these titles make an impact on the chart?
