ID@Xbox Games Coming to Game Pass on Day One – Afterparty, Outer Wilds and More

By Sam Quirke,
In the inaugural episode of ID@Xbox Game Pass, we learn that several highly anticipated indie titles are heading directly to the Xbox Game Pass from the day of their release. Check out the highlight reel below, which includes gameplay footage and developer commentary.

So what games are coming to Game Pass from day one? First up is Afterparty, the second game from the studio behind OXENFREE in which two teens battle through the drinking dens of Hell to escape to the mortal world. Also highlighted was Outer Wilds, an atmospheric exploration of a strange alien world in which you die and relive a 22 minute period.

Swery's unusual murder mystery The Good Life is also headed to the service, along with co-operative screaming in Supermarket Shriek and classic run-and-gunning in Blazing Chrome. The System Shock 2 inspired Void Bastards is also arriving day one along with Operencia: The Stolen Sun, which was already announced for the service earlier in the month.

Apart from Operencia arriving later this month, we do not have an exact release date for these titles. What do you think of this first instalment of ID@XBox Game Pass? Is it something you're excited to keep up with on a regular basis, and will you be picking up any of these titles? Let us know in the comments.
