Warframe Offers a Free Anniversary Gift Today

By Rebecca Smith, 29 days ago
Warframe released on the Xbox One in 2014, but it was available on PC and PlayStation 4 earlier than that. In fact, this week the game celebrated its sixth anniversary, and over those six years it has accumulated nearly 50 million registered online users. To celebrate the milestones, developer Digital Extremes is offering a free gift for all players today, as well as the chance to get birthday gifts from previous years.

6th Anniversary

Players who log into the game today, March 27th, will receive "a brand new exclusive Liset (landing craft) Skin", as well as last year's Dex Excalibur skin and all previous anniversary gifts.

Despite the milestones, the developer shows no signs of halting support for the game anytime soon. They're currently working on the Plains of Eidolon Remaster and Gas City Remaster updates, which will include gameplay and graphical overhauls for each area. There will also be new "game-changing" updates in the form of The New War and Railjack, which you can see in more detail here. As soon as we hear more on any of these updates, we'll be sure to let you know.

We've got the full list of Warframe achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
