UK Deal Roundup for May 10th, 2011

Now that they Royal Wedding fever has died down, unfortunately so have the sales. Most of the ongoing sales are either seeing an increase in their prices as they wind down or are having the number of titles reduced. There are also very few new sales starting this week. Regardless, here is this week’s roundup.

The continuing sales from last week include:
• Up to 70% off selected games at, although the Xbox 360 selection has fallen to just five titles.
GAME’s Spring Sale.
• The Big Sale at Gamestation.
Sainsburys’ Spring Deals on over 20 titles
• The two games for £25 offer at, which is also running at sister store Zavvi.

To start off the new sales of the week, has Dragon Age II as the most notable Deal of the Week at £24.99. Their Top Selling Chart also contains some fantastic offers:

This week sees the return of’s £5 sale, with thousands of items at this price. However, there are only a few Xbox 360 and Games for Windows LIVE titles included in this promotion:

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PC)
Fallout 3 (PC) Broken Steel & Point Lookout Expansion Pack is also having a Great-Value Games promotion at the moment, with titles starting from £7.99. The most notable bargains are Vanquish at £12.99, and Fallout: New Vegas and 007: Blood Stone both at £13.99.

The Weekly Special at sees discounted to just £12.85. Their Star Buys also see Halo: Reach discounted to £17.86, UFC Undisputed 2010 at £9.85, and Project Gotham Racing 4 at £4.85.

Finally, their sale on select EA games continues, but the prices on other titles have been further discounted. Now, alongside The Sims 3 at £19.85, you can also pick up Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit at £19.85, and FIFA 11 at £22.85.

In what appears to be a bit of a random offer, Tesco has currently got the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Complete Band Kit for just £60.00.

The Game Collection are currently running an offer of three games for £20. There are nearly 40 Xbox 360 titles to choose from, but buyers can mix and match games from other platforms if they so choose. has some notable Xbox 360 offers on at the moment, with Viva Piñata: Party Animals at £4.85, The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout at £15.85, and the Band Hero Full Band Bundle at £54.85.

The above prices are also reflected at Zavvi, who add a few more bargains to the list; Borderlands Game of the Year Edition is £14.85, de Blob 2 is £9.85, as is Crackdown 2.
