The Summer Olympics Returns To Xbox With Official Tokyo 2020 Title

By James Kearle, 24 days ago
The Summer Olympics will be hitting Tokyo in 2020, and with most Olympiads comes an official video game to accompany it. Contrary to tradition, Rio 2016 took a break from this trend and only saw the release of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Nintendo systems, becoming the first Summer Olympics to not feature an official video game since Seoul 1988. However, SEGA has recently confirmed two Tokyo 2020 video games are on their way; Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game.

To the disappointment of some, the latest Mario & Sonic cross-over will (rather obviously) be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. However, the below trailer confirms that the official title will be coming to all consoles in 2020, including the Xbox One.

After taking some time off, do you think Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game will deliver? Let us know in the comments.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game achievements.
