Resident Evil 2 Release Paid DLC Unlocking All In-Game Rewards Instantly

By James Kearle,
Survival-horror remake Resident Evil 2 has been one of the highest rated games of 2019 thus far, receiving universal acclaim from critics and a largely positive consumer response. On the back of its success, and 33% digital sale, many gamers will likely consider picking up Resident Evil 2 in the near future. To further incentivize players, Capcom has released a new paid DLC onto the Xbox store today that instantly unlocks all in-game rewards for players.

DLC or updates of this ilk are usually divided points of conversation. On one hand, it makes the game more accessible for less experienced players, and far easier for busy achievement hunters. Conversely, many who worked hard to earn these in-game rewards legitimately and toiled for their hard-earned completion may be disappointed to see significant in-game aids offered at a pretty modest price point.
