Last month, Aksys announced that they would be bringing a fairly hefty game update to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Today, the patch for the title was released, bringing with it a host of improvements and the all-important additional gamerscore.

Just as a reminder, the full list of updates is as follows:

-New character Platinum the Trinity added
-Game balance updated to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II
-New achievements added for the character Platinum the Trinity
-Updated Ranked Match interface and matchmaking procedure
-Improved measures for better online latency
-Improved countermeasures for disconnecting players in Ranked Match

-Various other bug fixes
The patch itself is free as is typical of such things. After downloading the patch, you will have to the download the 761 MB System Version Data Pack Ver.1.03 which is also free.

While Platinum the Trinity has been added, in order to access the character and the attached achievements, you will need to download the Platinum the Trinity Character Pack for 560 MSP.
