Just over the weekend, Kollector was revealed to be the 23rd character in the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. That left just two more kombatants to be officially unveiled, although we already know who they're going to be. One of those kombatants has now been unveiled in the latest trailer for the title. While the TV spot focuses on the fighter within us that pushes us to stick up for our beliefs, it also reveals Kitana as the penultimate fighter to join the roster.
Kitana is a 10,000-year-old princess of Edenia. She initially believed herself to be the biological daughter of Shao Kahn and became one of his warriors, but upon discovering the truth, she fought against his attempted conquest of Earthrealm. She perished in that battle, but she was resurrected as an evil revenant and now rules the Netherrealm alongside Liu Kang.
Kitana's reveal as the 24th kombatant (with Shang Tsung to be added at a later date) means there is just one more character to be revealed before the game's release on April 23rd. Thanks to a trophy list leak, we know that returning character Frost is the final fighter, and we'll be sure to let you know when she is officially revealed.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Mortal Kombat 11 achievements.
