We have just picked up reports of an Xbox Live service issue which suggests that Microsoft about about to offer three months of Game Pass for $1, possibly as part of the Spring Sale rumoured to be starting this week.
You can see the page and the price here, but do not attempt to purchase — this author did, and ended up paying the tax on the product without getting the subscription. It was later refunded by Microsoft.
