There's a bit of a discrepancy going on in the Windows 10 Store at the moment. When Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (Win 10) is viewed as part of a collection, it's currently showing with a 100% discount as free. However, as soon as you go to the product page, the game reverts to its full price. Some believe this is an indication that the game is about to join Xbox Game Pass.
You may remember that last month's Inside Xbox episode promised news for the Age of Empires franchise before the running order was changed to exclude it completely. The franchise has not been mentioned for the next episode of the show, due to run on April 16th, but there will be Xbox Game Pass news, and some have put the two together. The Xbox Game Pass programme has been promised for PC before, and bearing in mind we already know the Xbox One games that are supposed to be released throughout the rest of April, this would make sense.
Other theories include the game coming to Games with Gold, or being part of the Spring Sale that many believe will begin today. Some of you are probably also thinking that a discrepancy isn't that unusual and it's probably just a mistake, and that's a perfectly valid conclusion too. However, if it turns out to be something more meaningful, we'll be sure to let you know.
