Lowriders Week Begins in GTA Online

By Rebecca Smith,
The weekly GTA Online update has arrived for Grand Theft Auto V, this time with a focus on Lowriders and vehicle customisation. As usual, there's the another dose of discounts and time-limited rewards too.

Double GTA$ and RP opportunities come in the form of all eight Lowrider missions. You can grab these from Lamar Davis at Benny's Original Motor Works. The Keep the Pace, Inch By Inch, and In and Out Adversary Modes also offer Double GTA$ and RP payouts until April 17th. Finally, anybody who logs in during the event week will receive the knock-off Fake Vapid Tee in their collection.

Premium Races have moved to Bolingbroke and the Southern San Andreas highway system. From today until April 15th, the Premium race is "The Commute", although only for Sports vehicles. During April 16th-17th, the race will instead be "Criminal Records" that will be locked to Super vehicles only. To join the races, you'll need GTA$20K and to find the yellow corona at Legion Square. Alternatively, you can join through the Quick Job App. Winners will earn GTA$100K, runners up get GTA$30K, and third place manages to recoup their entry fee with a GTA$20K reward.

The event also comes with the usual discounts on a range of products. This week it's discounts on vehicles and upgrades from Benny's Original Motor Works, as well as a selection of other upgrades.
