A panel was just held at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, IL that focused on Respawn's upcoming story driven action-adventure title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. An official reveal trailer was shown and a few members of the team provided new information, mainly pertaining to the plot. The game will be a solely single player experience without any microtransactions whatsoever.
Players will be assuming the role of Cal Kestis, a member of the Jedi Order and survivor of the purge of Order 66. As a Padawan on the run, Cal has trouble trusting in anything but the Force while trying to continue living in plain sight without attracting attention. As he's hunted by Purge Troopers and an Inquisitor known as the Second Sister, his story will take you to new planets and long-lost civilizations. No gameplay was shown, but the combat will be melee-focused. You'll be improving Cal's lightsaber techniques and mastering his Force abilities on his journey. Along the way, he'll be accompanied by his good friend and droid companion, BD-1, and a mysterious comrade named Cere.
Become a Jedi and stay one step ahead of the Empire when Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches on November 15th.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order achievements.
