Minecraft continues to bring new content for players to enjoy, and this week is no different with the introduction of the Village & Pillage update. As the name suggests, the patch introduces pillaging, villager trades, a Wandering Trader, and new achievements for players to earn on Bedrock platforms.

First, the achievements. The below achievements have already scanned in for the Xbox One version of the title, as well as Android and Windows 10. They will arrive soon for Nintendo Switch, Windows Phone, Kindle Fire, Gear VR, and iOS too. There are 7 achievements worth a total of 180 Gamerscore, none of which are secret.

The patch has made several improvements to villages. There are new building types, new villagers (including pillagers), new villager trades, bells, changes to villager job sites, and a new Wandering Trader who's accompanied by two fancy llamas. Other new features include campfires, sweet berries, bamboo jungles, and additional accessibility settings. You can check out a full list of changes and additions in the full patch notes.

The Village & Pillage update will arrive today on Bedrock platforms. The update will not be available on Apple TV, Xbox 360, or the original Xbox One versions of the game.
